- A government whistleblower made explosive claims last week about a secret U.S. program to study UFOs.
- Dave Grusch, a former intelligence official, said that current and former U.S. officials have secretly studied UFOs for nearly 100 years.
- Grusch alleged that the government had recovered crashed UFO craft, as well as “non-human biologics,” and that defense contractors diverted payments for weapons to fund research.
During a highly anticipated Congressional hearing last week, a former U.S. official made startling allegations that a secret arm of the U.S. government has been quietly conducting research into so-called Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs)—all without Congressional oversight.
Dave Grusch, a former member of the Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, claimed that crashed UAPs had not only been recovered and studied for reverse-engineering, but that “non-human biologics” had also been discovered inside. While explosive, the claims remain unproven and rest entirely with one person.
Eyewitness Testimony
Held by the House Oversight Committee, the hearing featured three current and former military officials. Cmdr. David Fravor—former squadron commander of VFA-41, “The Black Aces” fighter squadron—recounted his UAP sighting off the coast of Mexico in 2004. Lt. Ryan Graves, also a former Navy fighter pilot, said he saw UAPs on his sensors while on active duty. (Graves is also the CEO of Americans for Safe Aerospace, an organization that wants more visibility on UAP issues, especially as it relates to pilot safety.)
