Roger MallettParanormal Science

I have had an interest in all things paranormal for the last 40 years or so, having grown-up in the 60s / 70s watching a whole range of sci-fi tv programmes and various associated films of that generation.

My interests really took shape when I began investigating crop circles and the alleged UFO / Paranormal connections back in the 1980s.
[I still remain open-minded regarding their origins]
I became an investigator for a paranormal organization which unfortunately no longer exists. Since that time and with the vast amounts of information available on the internet, I have continued my studies which have led to the creation of paranormalscience.co.uk

As a mature online student, over the years I have gained advanced diplomas in both parapsychology and psychology, with a vested interest in the branch of forensic / criminal psychology.

I am doubtful that we will ever fully understand the complex ways in which the human mind creates perception. The brain receives information, and it is up to the individual to form perceptions based on that information, which may or may not be accurate.

When it comes to scientific perspectives in relation the paranormal, here we open up a Pandora`s box. Science and the paranormal are the worst of enemies. Whether the discussion is about the continuation of
existence after physical death, extra-sensory perception, or the question of extra-terrestrial visitations over the last 75 years or so, the scientific community appear to establish a metaphorical barrier which dare not be
crossed.

In creating this website, not only will I be looking at the numerous branches included within the paranormal genre, but I will also include evidence based scientific research into the phenomena to see if science
and the paranormal can establish common ground.
